We take special care to protect what matters most. The Beskydy and Bílé Karpaty mountains are among the largest protected areas in the entire country, and when we do produce waste, we know how to sort it — the region ranks among the very best in the Czech Republic for waste separation efficiency.

The share of land covered by specially protected landscape areas, as well as the overall share of greenery, is highly above average compared to other regions (30.8% of the area).
